Our Story

With over 20 years of experience in the food industry, we are excited to present our story to you. 

Our story starts off something like this:

About 20 years ago our mother was visiting a friend of hers for a few days. one sleepy Sunday morning our mother heard a lot of noise and the smell of something burning coming from the kitchen so she went down to see what was going on. What she saw was her friend trying to put out a fire that had started in one of the pots that was on the stove!

Our mother jumped in, put out the flames and discovered her friend had been attempting to make a fast brunch for her in-laws that had called an hour earlier and said they would be coming by for Sunday brunch!

With less then an hour remaining our mothers friend was almost in tears as there was hardly enough time to make anything now for brunch.

Our Mom calmed her friend down and told her to step aside, she quickly put together her selection of spices and ingredients and made fresh seasoned chicken Pilaf, and to compliment it she made her traditional Flaming Red Garlic Chutney!

The in-laws arrived, they ate and went for seconds, and then for thirds! The brunch was a success!

From that point onwards our Mothers Pilaf recipe became a bit of a legend amongst her friends and family. Slowly her friends started asking her to make it for them, that spread to friends of friends and finally it became so popular she decided to start catering for Sunday brunches.


Soon she was cooking not only Pilaf but everything else that was in her arsenal of dishes.


That was about 20 years ago, and today we carry on her recipes and tradition of Sunday brunch with her special Chicken Pilaf and her Flaming Red Garlic Chutney!  


Special Events and Catering

We provide take out and catering for private events: weddings, business lunches, dinners, cocktail receptions, and more. We would love to discuss how to be a part of your next event. 


Seasonal and Local

We refuse to compromise on quality in our restaurant. There are items that are on menu that are available only when we find fresh produce.
